Once, an old acquaintance told me that they looked at motorcycle racers in leather suits in the early nineteen fifties – as if they would look the same at aliens now.
In fact, it looks beautiful. Yes, ordinary people dressed then in those years, so-so.
The photo shows the champions of the USSR DOSAAF in motorsport in 1951.

Cat tells me this blue and white pottery is called Delftware or Delft pottery, also known as Delft Blue. In Dutch it’s Delfts blauw.
Whatever it is it’s beautiful! I want one of these! This is work of art! It would great anywhere, I would have it under locked glass. I think everyone would like one of these classics.
